Introduction

The love of jazz from my youth has never left me, just grown into the appreciation of the genre from far-flung spots, especially Africa and the Latin Caribbean. Used to sing, used to/still do dance.

What kind of jazz do you listen to or play?

60s, 70s and onward Latin jazz Jazz of the golden era in West Africa--70s & 80s The gals--Ella, Carmen McCrae, Anita O'Day, early Billie, etc.
