Meet other local fans of Jazz music and meet to hear local jazz artists perform. There are great jazz musicians in the area that we only hear irregularly at jazz festivals that I would like to hear more often. Getting interested people together will encourage venues to offer jazz on a more regular basis.

      “Welcome. Do you come to Galveston often? I keep my ears open for any local jazz eents and post them, but haven't heard of any for awhile, except for the Galveston Historical Foundation plankowners party where Sparky's express was playing, but that was a $50 ticket and the jazz was incidental, so although I went I didn't post it. Let me know if you hear of anything. Looking forward to meeting you.”
